In winter, in La Val everything revolves around fun in the snow. The Dolomites, irresistible in their snow-white garment, can be explored through winter trekking, snowshoeing and ski mountaineering. On the nearby Armentara meadows there are trails for Nordic skiing set in a splendid landscape of snow-covered woods and meadows at the foot of Sas dla Crusc. Besides, it’s here that you experience the thrill of sledding or tobogganing at full speed towards the village. Those who love Alpine skiing will find in a range of 10 km from La Val a number of ski lifts that offer an access to more than 1000 km of ski runs of the Dolomiti Superski area, including Kronplatz and the sunny slopes of Alta Badia and Sellaronda, ideal for both beginners and experienced skiers.
